Ego for iPad
Just because you’re paranoid doesn’t mean everyone isn’t talking about you. While it may hurt your pride if your friends and coworkers are gossiping behind your back about what you did at the office Christmas party, it’s nothing compared to what your clients or others may be saying about your company online.
Ego for iPad has come along and it’s goal is to give you a quick glimpse into your business engagement. Specifically visits to your website stats, Twitter mentions, and Vimeo stats. Ego for iPad puts all of this in one location so you don’t have to go to 4 different pages and log in with 4 different logins.
Services Supported
- Google Analytics: Google Analytics is one of the most popular and free website analytics tools. Ego for iPad lets you access your Google Analytics account and choose which metrics you want to display on your Ego dashboard. I personally use Google Analytics daily to monitor my website visits, the pages being visited, keywords used, sources, and demographic info on my visitors. Ego for iPad will put all of that at your fingertips.
- Mint: Mint is a paid website analytics program and is widely used. Ego for iPad works with Mint pretty much the same as Google Analytics. Personally I’ve never used Mint but if you use it you can view it in Ego for iPad.
- Twitter: Twitter is this little upstart microblogging website…you’ve probably never heard of it. Oh, wait…it’s 2012 you would have to be living under a rock to now know Twitter. Here’s the deal, more and more of your clients and customers are interacting with you on Twitter. If they aren’t now…just wait. Monitoring this interaction is key in today’s market. Ego let’s you monitor your Twitter accounts and respond to mentions in a timely manner.
- Vimeo: Vimeo is an online video service similar to YouTube. Ego for iPad will let you see comments, likes, and views of your Vimeo videos.
So the general thought is that you add all of your accounts. Then you add widgets to your dashboard so you can see the data you are most interested in. Now whenever you need to check your stats or Twitter mentions just open up Ego for iPad and there’s your data.
Ego for iPad is only $.99 at the App Store and that is a pretty good bargain for the convenience of having your data from multiple sources on one convenient screen.
