Easy Ways to Try and Boost your Customer Trust

Posted on May 14, 2019May 14, 2019 by ben

If you want your business to succeed, then you need to make sure that your customers trust you. If they don’t, then you may find that your sales are never quite as good as they could be and that you also can’t find a way to turn things around.

Improve Security

The first thing that you need to do is make sure that your customers feel safe whenever they shop with you. It doesn’t matter whether you are selling your products through an ecommerce platform, or whether you have a physical store because customer safety should always be your first priority.

To protect your site, make sure that your site is secure and even implement hacker protection on your data. It also helps to back up everything you have to a cloud, should anything be corrupted. If you want to get some help with this then look at www.inrsite.com. With your retail store, you need to try and install CCTV and you also need to try and limit employee access too. Little things like this can make all the difference.

Be Socially Active

Being active on social media will help you in a huge number of ways. It can help you to build visibility for your brand and it will also help you to attract way more followers too. You may even find that the followers that you do attract have a much better feel for your brand.

One of the strengths of building your visibility via social media is flexibility. You can spend your time populating your site with content, while engaging new followers all the time. You can also choose to post images over text, or even videos if you want so you can always align it with your brand.

Under Promise

Customers are no longer trusting when it comes to brands. One reason for this is because they are often lied to. If you want to stop this from happening, then you need to make sure that you under-promise and that you over-deliver. If it is going to take you a week to get a product delivered, then tell your customer that it is going to take you a week and a half. If you know that your product lasts for 12 years, tell your customers that it lasts for 10.

Create A Personal Brand

It helps to make your brand as personal as possible. Don’t use formulated responses, and always make sure that you speak from the heart. You should also encourage your employees to do this as well. The main reason is because it will help your brand seem more personal and this can really change the impression that your customers have of you.

Communicate

You should never leave your customers in the dark. The more you can talk to your customers the better, and this is especially the case if you are working as a marketer or even as a consultant. You also need to make sure that you are open and transparent. Your customers will appreciate this more than you know.

About Us

My good friend Ben started this site many years ago.  Ben said this about himself, “am a follower of Christ, a rabid computer geek, small business owner, and breaker of things. He is married way above his station in life and has three wonderful children who have made driving him insane their mission in life.”

Well back in 2019, Ben suddenly passed away from cancer and he asked me to continue the site. I like Ben, am a follower, a computer geek, a small business owner, and the father of 5 great children.

I miss Ben everyday but run this site in his honor. Thanks for visiting and enjoy!
