Infographic: 7 Dos and Don’ts of Mobile App Marketing

Posted on July 4, 2013April 3, 2014 by ben

For those of you who develop mobile apps or who help market mobile apps then we have the perfect infographic.    The 7 Dos and Don’ts of Mobile App Marketing, from DotComInfoWay, gives you 7 points to consider when you are begin marketing your mobile app.  For instance, “Optimize on the App Store”…this is a great point for mobile app marketing.  Basically it’s not enough to just submit your app to the market you have to optimize your listing to ensure it is found by the right people.

Also, the infographic points out that you need to target the right group of users.  You need to know who your users are so you aren’t wasting time on people who will never purchase your app.

The infographic presents simple guidelines along with fun illustrations that are tongue-in-cheek yet spot-on. We have designed and illustrated it in a cartoon-like manner with two fictional characters – Appy and Floppy – to give marketers an intuitive understanding of the prerequisites for the successful creation, implementation and execution of a campaign. We have presented a lucid cause-and-effect reasoning and also juxtaposed the results of effective and ineffective app promotion, in an easy-to-digest manner.

So, if you are involved with mobile app marketing or you want to be involved with mobile app marketing then take a look at this infographic.

About Us

My good friend Ben started this site many years ago.  Ben said this about himself, “am a follower of Christ, a rabid computer geek, small business owner, and breaker of things. He is married way above his station in life and has three wonderful children who have made driving him insane their mission in life.”

Well back in 2019, Ben suddenly passed away from cancer and he asked me to continue the site. I like Ben, am a follower, a computer geek, a small business owner, and the father of 5 great children.

I miss Ben everyday but run this site in his honor. Thanks for visiting and enjoy!
