PPC Tips For Newbies

Posted on June 21, 2019 by ben

Marketing is a huge part of running a small business and it takes up a lot of our time and resources when starting out and making a name for ourselves. Working as a small enterprise is hard enough and when it comes to thinking on our feet we can always find great ways to share our story with the public.

Today we will discuss a particular part of the marketing process known as PPC or pay per click. It is a marketing method which allows us to create adverts online to draw people in and help us gain some conversion using a pay per click system. We can use a service such as https://www.fannit.com/ppc-management/ to help us manage this and we are also going to take a look and see how to improve the system this year.

Remarketing

When it comes to making plans for a campaign it is important to try and target the people who are more likely to enjoy our presence and respond to it. For example we can use a remarketing list to get in touch with previous customers and this can make all the difference as we are far more likely to gain a conversion from it.

Use Many Formats

The best thing you can do in order to show yourself off and gain exposure as a brand is to be on front of your audience all the time. The best way to achieve this is to use multiple methods of marketing campaigns with different types of adverts. For example you could have a boosted post on Facebook, a banner ad on YouTube videos, a sidebar ad on websites and much more. The more your target audience sees you, the more likely they are to buy from you.

Stick To Your Branding

It is important that you always allow our customers to know who you are no matter what your advert is for. Make sure to always bring a sense of great branding into your adverts whether it be the same logo on every ad or a specific tag line which people will know you for. This will ensure that no matter what the subject matter of your advert is, that it will always be recognised.

Track Conversions

It is important for any marketing campaign that you always make sure to track your results and analyse them. You will never know how a plan is going to work out and whether it has been successful unless you take the time out to track it. There’s no reason to make the effort creating an advert if you don’t track the results and use them in the future. Once you have your data you will be able to see what works and what doesn’t and this will make all the difference.

PPC marketing is a great tool to utilise as a business so make sure that you take the time out to use it and build the success of your business as a result.

About Us

My good friend Ben started this site many years ago.  Ben said this about himself, “am a follower of Christ, a rabid computer geek, small business owner, and breaker of things. He is married way above his station in life and has three wonderful children who have made driving him insane their mission in life.”

Well back in 2019, Ben suddenly passed away from cancer and he asked me to continue the site. I like Ben, am a follower, a computer geek, a small business owner, and the father of 5 great children.

I miss Ben everyday but run this site in his honor. Thanks for visiting and enjoy!
