6 Ways To Improve Your Business in 2019

Posted on November 28, 2018November 28, 2018 by ben

As we get closer to the new year, it’s time to start thinking about how you’re going to be improving your business in 2019. The start of a new year is a great time to work out what you’ve already achieved, where you’d like to be and how you’re going to get there.

Whether you’re an entrepreneur, running a small business or the owner of a large multinational company – thinking about how you’re going to improve in 2019 is vital to your business growth.

With that in mind, here are 6 ways to improve your business in 2019:

1. Hire Some Help

Although this point is more aimed towards entrepeneur’s, it’s a great way to get organised as we go into a new year. Whether you hire someone full time or just need someone for a few hours a week, hiring someone to do the administrative tasks that you no longer have the time to do is a great way to free up your time to do the more important things – like growing your business.

2. Get On Social Media

If your business is not already on social media, 2019 should be the year you make that move. Social media is a great way to share the exciting things your business is doing with the rest of the world, encouraging them to visit your site and make a purchase. Whilst it’s often not a direct marketing strategy that shows results overnight, it’s the perfect way to get your name out there.

3. Organise Your Business’ Processes

Whether you’re an online business, a manufacturer or someone who offers a service – organising your business’ processes is a great way to organise your whole business. So, write down your processes, streamline your manufacturing process and work out the best way to offer services to your customers – it’s the best way to ensure 2019 success.

4. Set New Goals And Action Steps To Achieve Them

At the start of every year, you should be setting goals that you want to achieve. Setting these goals will allow you to focus on what you need to do to achieve them, giving you a clear structure for how your year should play out. Setting goals is also a great way to measure your businesses success, whether they’re monetary goals or something a little more personal.

5. Explore New Ways To Sell

If you’re a well-established business, the chances are you will already have lots of different methods of selling to your customers. If you’re still in the early stages, however, the new year could be a great chance to look at all of the different options that are available to you. Can you sell on Etsy? What about drop shipping? Look at all your options and work out what’s best for you and your business.

6. Seek Expert Advice Where Needed

Despite being the amazing business owner you are, it’s okay to admit that sometimes you need help. There are many different types of experts you can speak to, but don’t be afraid to seek their advice if you need it. You never know, they may tell you exactly what you need to make 2019 your best year yet.

About Us

My good friend Ben started this site many years ago.  Ben said this about himself, “am a follower of Christ, a rabid computer geek, small business owner, and breaker of things. He is married way above his station in life and has three wonderful children who have made driving him insane their mission in life.”

Well back in 2019, Ben suddenly passed away from cancer and he asked me to continue the site. I like Ben, am a follower, a computer geek, a small business owner, and the father of 5 great children.

I miss Ben everyday but run this site in his honor. Thanks for visiting and enjoy!
